Where Do You Stand Now?

I am a 7, but it will be over a year from now before my Elio is built...and I have been here for 270 days..I actually thought in the beginning, (sept) I would be within a few months of taking delivery of my elio. I also budgeted $10,000 for my elio..and it looks like the automatic with cruise plus destination (795) and my states taxes, license, and document fees will put me close to that. EM says they are within $300 to meeting the $6800 but with more delays I thing about $7200 will be the base price because costs keep going up..Go go Elio!

This is the latest list - A number of names have been removed or shortened up in the last few days -

I am sure there are at least a few more employees who either do not use linked-in or have not updated their profile with Elio Motors so this is actually a pretty good size team for a startup company which is still months away from even setting up the production line.

Elio also has a number of outside firms helping them as we know the tour is being coordinated via an outside firm, prototypes are being built by an outside firm, and drivetrain development is being done by IAV. It would not surprise me at all if the vehicle engineering is being handled mainly by Paul Elio's engineering company working in tandem with suppliers such as Continental Engineering Services who we know is in charge of the complete electrical system. We also know Comau is going to handle the tooling and assembly line engineering.

Elio Motors really does have most of the pieces in place to make this happen. We just have to sit back and watch and see how it all develops over the next year or so.

I'm back to 10, now that I see the orders are 136,000 and Mr. Elio owns a 3 wheeled bike factory in China.

136,00 would be Great but I'm only seeing 17,000 + is the 136,000 total of all in and wana bees??

I'm still a 10 + still waiting on Mo. to OK the no helmet bill. Figures that the Show Me State will be one of the last to hold out.

With the news that production had been pushed back by half a year to q3 2015 has dropped my confidence level.
Every time I hear "unexpected delay", what I really heat is "we don't know how to adequately plan our timeline.
