You think maybe Einstein could have been included in etc? Did not mention all, or how we went to the moon in 1969 , dark age teck compared to now days..People love to argue over anything in here.
Actually, Einstein was German, as was Oppenheimer who actually was a part of the Manhattan Project, unlike Einstein who was opposed to the idea of nuclear weapons.

You were talking about how no other countries produced gate, jobs, etc.... Einstein cannot be in etc because he is German. We did not "produce" Einstein. Einstein helped the U.S more than the U.S. helped Einstein.
He worked as a clerk in a us government office.. He got poor grades in school, 70% of his theories were proven false Hovever he was very smart.

He clerked at the us patent office before becoming the wise manin his late middle age.

I am sorry Debbie but you really need to check your facts. As I stated above he did not even move to the USA until 1933 which was years after he won the Nobel Prize in 1921.

It was the Swiss patent office. In the US, he held a temporary position at the California Institute of Technology and after formally emigrating to America he worked for Princeton University's Institute for Advanced Study (currently home to one of the few fusion test reactors <--very cool stuff)
