That's authoritative even though there is no name.
People should always stick to one story, no matter which channel.
When you change your story you hurt your credibility.

After looking at their homepage (PRWeb), it seems obvious to me that someone at Elio wrote the press release, and might explain why there's no author name. The whole site is just a marketing tool for small businesses, not an 'actual' news source.

Now, this doesn't mean there's anything nefarious going on, and it could be a good tool for getting out information to a larger market than, say, Elio's blog. As far as "authoritative", might be, might not be.o_O

It sounds like it is merely a formality at this point as RACER Trust says they intend to grant the extension to mid-2016.

Elio has promised to bring 1,500 well paying jobs to the area. RACER Trust is holding the CEO to his promise. RACER Trust owned the plant after GM's bankruptcy, then sold the plant to Caddo Parish's Industrial Development Board.

As part of the deal, RACER Trust created an agreement with Paul Elio to employee 1,500 people.

"We actually guaranteed with a financial penalty, the number of jobs," said Elio.

The February 1, 2015 deadline to create those jobs has passed and so has several of Elio Motor's projected start dates.

But RACER Trust redevelopment manager Bruce Rasher says Elio won't be penalized because they are working on an extension.

"We have not formally granted the extension yet, we are still in discussions with Elio, but we fully intend to agree on changes in our contract to extend the date, to mid-2016," said Rasher.

Actually very objective in the history of this project.
I still laugh when Paul talks about his broken crystal ball. Memo: it's stale, and smiling while repeating it is silly. There have been enough ball stories this last week to make me shrivel

If Henry Ford had to with all of the rules, regulations and loan requirements that Elio Motors has to deal with we would all be mucking out stalls and oiling harness leather on a regular basis.

I guess you guys didn't read my earlier post. This is authoritative: the delay was caused by problems related to the test facility, nothing to do with Elio Motors at all. The results of the delay are a problem for Elio, not least because of the disappointment in these ranks, but the delay was not caused by anything Elio did or did not do.

Again, this delay was forced upon Elio, not generated by Elio. I can't be more detailed than that, sorry.

So again a missed dead line and missed mile stone and nothing but excuses. Company I work for fired high ranking executives, just for taking vacation.
Elio needs some real management.
