Maybe an audio alert system could've saved you? Yell out, or a "blast from the past" could enlighten your present view?
Just puttering around "could" keep your day bright??
:eek::D

Doesn't even matter the topic we're so bored out of our minds, that we don't even let any mention of E M interrupt our banter.

Q for Wheaters. Of all the folks on this site, you seem to be one of the patient understanding "chaps", what with your (little) chance of seeing an Elio in The U.K. -but, on the upside- when it does get there, EM won't have to retool to get the steering wheel "on the other side"

RUCRAYZE, No, that's right, the central seating position will make life straightforward and help keep vehicle costs down; no right hand drive conversion required. As one of our supermarkets here says in their adverts - every little helps. By the time a vehicle is shipped here and road registered, it will cost a lot more than $6800 in any case.

I can afford to be patient more than some others here mainly because I don't have the worry of a $1000 T shirt. If the project succeeds, I'll be very happy for everyone who wants an Elio, especially those who have put money down.

I haven't put money down because I'm not convinced the last seen body design (P4) complies with the UK regulations, as I've said on a number of occasions before. If it does, I'd really like to be out there too. In the meantime, we're saving to put our daughter through university so I do most of my miles in my fifteen year old Suzuki Swift, which is as close to an Elio as I might ever get.

Meanwhile, I like being here in this forum because it feels like I'm among friends with a common interest!

I see some bug-eye headlight mods in the future! I want you to have one too, Wheaters!

I think we had the answer 200 posts ago.
It was explaining that the prototypes can't be built until the engine has finished testing. this is because any vibration problems could cause the motor mounts to be moved as much as an inch or two in order to damp out the vibration. At least, that's what EM told me on the phone. Of course, cash is a part of the timing as well.
