What, no love for the Model T behind that?
Only if it was a '31-'32 Model A.
Myself, I'm nuts for aircooled engines/cars. Exception made for Subys.

Yup, and the car right beside the Yugo (also cheap), gave millions of people world wide exactly what they paid for.
Big difference between 31 and a 32, me I want bothOnly if it was a '31-'32 Model A.

I would also suggest you add Polski Fiat's to that list of exceptions. Nothing like driving in 36 C weather from Budapest to Balaton on the M7 in August crammed into a Polski Fiat.Only if it was a '31-'32 Model A.

as for the old beetles, eh, not really a fan...
I've lived by the rule 'You get what you pay for' when making any major purchase. Cheap raises my inner red flag. What is it about EM's marketing an affordable (Cheap Commuter) that seems to defy the logic? We haven't seen and or driven the finished product. We are all eager to position ourselves to be the early adopters 'test the waters' on build quality, performance/handling, and long term reliability. A fleet of 50,000 + test pilot Elio's. Fun to be a part of, but it simply defies logic.
Yea, that's my goal, a bone stock 31 (ok with shocks and heat) and a 32 hot rod.A buddy had an "all original" '31, but sold it to buy a '32 Hot rod. Not one piece of it made by Ford Motor Company.

My favorite version of a Model A is a '31 400 series...they're so graceful looking...
