Waffling On Base Price. Can They Make $6,800?

I keep wondering what this "small print" is all about.
When I went all in I read the agreement which was all in one font.
(I even made a copy.)
And for those whining that the Elio is different than the design they looked at I particularly liked paragraph 11.
...."11. Acknowledgments
YOU UNDERSTAND THAT ELIO MOTORS, INC., MAY NOT HAVE COMPLETED THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE VEHICLE OR BEGUN MANUFACTURING THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF YOUR RESERVATION. WE WILL NOT HOLD YOUR RESERVATION PAYMENT SEPARATELY OR IN AN ESCROW OR TRUST FUND OR PAY ANY INTEREST ON RESERVATION PAYMENTS, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT REQUIRED BY LAW."....
(caps are in the contract. not me yelling)

I learned about the caps in contracts when I started working in Escrow.
So no harm no foul, carry on

Based on my experience with the purchase of my Saturn Sky, the base price was $23,690, after all the tax and other crap, my total cash outlay was $25,202, an extra $1512, but that was back in 2006. I have to assume that extra outlay has gone up a tad since then. Sigh.
