To the right under the iPad, is what appears to be a knob. Has this always been there? I wonder what it does.

I would also like to see what is on the right dash behind the steering wheel where the Continental stereo unit formerly was.

can't see it very well but it looks like a 12V plug to me .... best guess is the space for the OEM radio is covered by the iPad

I can't see it from the sign, but this picture makes it look like it is enclosed. This picture is probably what you were referring to. (Confusing) I got this from EM's page on facebook.

[Broken External Image]

"think" about how difficult it would be to enclose this area. There are 7 points protruding thru that opening...2 for each A-arm, the steering rod, the drive axle and the pull rod. Each opening will have to be over-sized and slotted to allow for suspension travel...quite challenging.

I believe this is the P5. It was posted on Nov 13, 2015 by EM on Facebook, in response to a question, with the following statement: "Yes, the current dash configuration and gauges look more like this:"

This has different climate control knobs, the elgin gauges are present, I believe steering wheel controls are gone which were present on the P4, and the iPad is mounted differently (which they were trying to mount more securely in the P5).

No fight, but......
A creamsicle and black dash in a red car?
An automatic transmission shift lever in a manual trans car?
All of the "idiot" lights turned on?
I think you are wrong.

I concur. When I sat in the P4, I clearly remember 4 shiny knobs on the left hand side of the dash, next to the steering wheel. I can't remember what they were for, but I think it was climate control. This image shows two much larger dials in that position, so I would conclude that this is either a mock up or an actual image of the P5 dash.

This is a shot off Elio's website, I presume to be P4. Other than Elgin dash and steering wheel, looks to be same as posted above. Note 2 climate control knobs, auto shifter.

Then again, I may be blowing smoke. We will surely notice all these finer details tomorrow!

To add to all the idiot lights being on, isn't the the odometer reading the same as the video showing the Elgin in action? Also the fuel filler arrow by gas gauge is pointing to the left side.

This CAD drawing of the dash may or may not be on the actual P5, and it may or may not be on the production Elios, but it is the latest info available from EM. It is on Eliomotors web site, under gallery, photos.

The ugh! for me is the fugly old man steering wheel which distracts from the clean retro look of the Elgin Instrument Cluster set into the new brushed metal dash panel. I'll probably do an aftermarket MOMO Steering Wheel as a compliment to the anticipated race car like interior of the P5.
