I don't know. If you look closely in the second sign from the left, the suspension area seems fully covered. By the way, this is the P5 at the LA Auto Show booth.
I can't see it from the sign, but this picture makes it look like it is enclosed. This picture is probably what you were referring to. (Confusing) I got this from EM's page on facebook.

This picture looks contrary to what Pamela told me unless the rubberized part is there and painted red. Hopefully, we'll get tons of well-lit and in focus pictures... Many... And soon.

As I have said before, I like the open suspension and the flare around the opening. I like the view of the coil-over shocks. Perhaps the covering can be removed and aftermarket flares added around the opening, as is done on some trucks. I will reserve my opinion until I see pictures in detail. Who knows. I may love the new look.

So why are you posting a picture of the P4 interior simulation the day before the P5 comes out?
I hope we get to see a lot of pictures of "the real deal" real soon.
I believe this is the P5. It was posted on Nov 13, 2015 by EM on Facebook, in response to a question, with the following statement: "Yes, the current dash configuration and gauges look more like this:"

This has different climate control knobs, the elgin gauges are present, I believe steering wheel controls are gone which were present on the P4, and the iPad is mounted differently (which they were trying to mount more securely in the P5).

Here it is. In all its radiant glory
To the right under the iPad, is what appears to be a knob. Has this always been there? I wonder what it does.

I would also like to see what is on the right dash behind the steering wheel where the Continental stereo unit formerly was.
