To me the gauge cluster is small potatoes, as it only affects us Elio owners. Where the gas tank on the wrong side, effects us owners and everyone else at the stations. Filling up today, it was crazy. Luckily everyone had the gas tanks on the drivers side, so after a 15 minute wait, I was able to fill up. I honestly don't feel a fill up was possible today by someone with passenger side fill. I'm 100% serious.

I'm looking at 5 gallon gas cans now on Amazon.com. Mixed reviews. If anyone knows a good one that works well for them, feel free to post. I would assume any tank that works wel with lawnmowers, etc, would work well for the Elio too?
I own a Ford and a GM.
Both of my vehicles have the fuel port on the passenger side.
Last time I fueled, I noticed that half the vehicles there had it on that side too.
It's always busy at that station. No-one ever seems to have a problem.

our Elio will be the first vehicle I have owned that didn't have the fuel inlet on the driver's side .... our daughter just bought a new Camaro which has its fuel inlet on the passenger's side .... it ain't no big deal

One thing about the right side fill; the Elio is narrow enough, that reaching over it to get to the fuel door really shouldn't be a problem. Now if it was a van or a 1972 Buick Electra 225 that would be another story ;)

That's very cool, and their IQ3 Streetpak looks like it might slide in fairly easy.
Well it was cool, till I got to this part

Price
$975.00
Product Number: 250-DS-IQ3S

I wouldn't worry I know the cluster will be modified by the aftermarket.

something like this

Obviously you don't have a pacemaker so you have no idea what it's all about.

I'm curious if those fuzzy shoulder belt covers help this? I'll have to check in with my brother since he's had a pacemaker for several years. Maybe different size, type, location and he drives a lot and long distance. Sure glad these little things exist for all who need them but the shoulder belt irritation is an unintended consequence.... Sigh.
