me have more info ? ... certainly not .... don't claim to ... nor do you .... they will alter their projections when they feel the need .... the reality is, all of your huff'n and puff'n accomplishes nothing .... the difference is, I don't know if the project will succeed or fail but realizing I can't do anything about it one way or the other, I'm content to sit back and see how things develop .... even though you can't do anything about it one way or the other, from your post, you clearly have an agenda to come here and whine in an attempt to sew discontent .... have you considered joining the hater's site, you'd probably fit right in over there .... in the past you've said you can't post at EM's site because you've been banned .... you also know that none of the folks here can go anything about your concerns .... I'll ask again, why would you want to deal with a company you feel this way about ..... why not find something you can support and be happy about

Very SIMPLE.... to 'inform' NEW people of Elio Motor's 'deceptive practices' and 'unfulfilled promises'.... so that they are not 'suckered' into a Reservation, on a vehicle that Elio Motors will never be able to deliver! Definitely NOT in the time frame that Elio Motors is 'claiming'!

Absolutely not Past Fanatic! No way is that true. That is a rationalization of your feelings. There was something very bad that happened to you when you were a child and you have never gotten over it.

fanatic-read it and weep-this is from your reference-
All in a day’s work as Elio Motors strives to maintain its commitment to achieving its four key “must haves:”

- 84 MPG Highway
- Engineered for an anticipated 5-Star Crash Test Rating
- American Made
- $6800

NOPE, that it just the BRIGHT LIGHT at the 'beginning' of the tunnel. According to Elio Motors' own words, now they have to BUILD “18 to 26” E Series Pre-production vehicles, and an additional 17 to 25 more IAV engines to place in them so they can BEGIN their 'testing phase' and actual crash tests, in order to “finalize” their design. They also have to get the IAV engine EPA certified, and 'create' an Elio Engine Manufacturing Facility in the Shreveport Plant. After the design is “finalized” they can then begin to 're-tool' the factory and hire/train workers. No Worries, they have 14 months before the 'deadline'..... and plenty of money! OR, could that be the 'Light of Reality'?
You lack creativity Past Fanatic (or is it rogwild?). You should have said "the light at the end of the tunnel is just a freight train coming our way". You lack creativity Past Fanatic. That is why you are boring.

I believe there is a song that says this. I believe it was a very hard rock group that performed with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. (No Mozart at that concert!) The rock group's fans were waiting outside the building before the performance and cheered the orchestra as they got off the buses when they arrived. No classical music fans had ever done this!

The big question is if you have been an Elio supporter for 6 years and have had a $1K non-refundale reservation for a couple of years would you still make the same $1K all-in reservation today based on EM's history of delays for whatever their reasoning knowing the fact that they are now working under a Caddo Parrish extension deadline and have no funding, but only a plan for funding options? The majority of new reservationists don't take the time to review EM's past history or even read the fine print on the non-refundable sales agreement. They need a mommy when it comes to finances.

Like many of us oldtimers, newbies stumble across the concept, like it, and immediately get caught up in the dream making a quick reservation without any serious thought that it may not happen. EM's clock is ticking with the Caddo Parrish plant extension deadline. Nothing wrong with making people aware of the situation in a respectful manner. In reality I hope, but doubt 2016 is even a realistic anticipted production date based on the amount of work that is still on the table with no immediate funds to move ahead. My doubt will fade if EM happens to lock in funding over the next 30 days.
