If they can put a helicopter engine in the back of a van.....I"m sure the Corvette can fit somehow!I wonder if it would fit...
FWIW, Jerome told me a year ago that the idea was for Elio to deliver its mpg at highway spends, 65 mph. They are currently at 81 mpg. Looking for those extra 3 mpg -- that's proving difficult without increasing cost.Jesus, that's actually fantastic! I'm really hoping we can achieve the 84mpg while moving at the speed limit of 70mph. If not, then hopefully it'll make it to at least the 70s (mpg) at that speed.
HA! Difficult? Try telling your wife she should have no problem losing those last 3 pounds to make goal.FWIW, Jerome told me a year ago that the idea was for Elio to deliver its mpg at highway spends, 65 mph. It's an LS3 putting out over 400hp
My buddy told me it was one of the easiest motor swaps he's ever done.
Behind the V8 is the same 6speed tranny that the corvette uses.
But does it get 84 mpg?
I'm thinking more like 84 + Smiles per gallon. But does it get 84 mpg?
