Ya know.. if the Arcimoto SRK had some way to attach a snow plow, or even better a snow blower w/ a pony engine, it might just be worth owning up here in the great white north. I really like the look of it, and from all appearances it would be a riot to drive.. but, unless I could get 4 season use out of it, it would just be an expensive toy.

The Elio is far more practical, besides being more economical.. at least initial purchase wise. And, 4 season ready, even without a snow plow.
You under estimate the ability of a narrow 2 seater electric vehicle to handle the snow:

Oh, I think not.. I'm just looking for something that handles the snow a bit more gracefully. :thumb: .. and does make a mess.

That is pretty damn funny though. :D

Kinda reminds me of me charging out of my garage in my AWD Explorer when I'm too lazy to get up early and plow.

I ride a standard motorcycle, so I see this as an improvement in many areas regardless of whether it has airbags or not.

Also, this doesn't look like a 5 point harness... it looks like two regular seatbelts that overlap from opposite sides. Even your clip shows its got 2 three-point harnesses. I think I would rather have a true 5-point.

Arcimoto refers to them as 3 + 2 harnesses for both seats, so I took that to mean a 5 point harness with the function of keeping the driver connected to the seat or then again it could mean (2) 3 point harnesses.

I'm making an effort to no longer make assumptions or speculations about ANY concept vehicle until specifications are finalized in the production vehicle. We will see the actual 3 + 2 harness when they start building the 50 test pilot SRK's over the next few months. Since Arcimoto is fabricating SRK custom parts and building the pilot vehicles in their own production facilities they have the advantage of total control over the build process.

I'm certain I'll be able to easily gauge vehicle performance on the SRK's dash with or without corrective lenses.

If there happens to be an Elio fan attending the CES please stop by and check out the SRK which is on the way to that big really big show. If I recall Elio was there last year. I would be curious about an Elio Addicts first hand view and review of the SRK. I happen to like both the Elio & SRK commuter 'and' vehicles. I hope they both get delivered to their targeted demographic. I'm hoping to test ride/drive both soon. Thanks.
