Anyone Ask About Interior Noise?

I had an interior specialist install Dynomat overhead when replacing the headliner in our old van. I initially did it to solve the "boominess" of that big box, but the bonus was a dramatic reduction in heat load in summer. I'd recommend it to anyone having interior work done, it's a relatively cheap solution to a marginal air conditioner.

Good stuff. It can make the old "tin box" tractor cabs from the 60s- 70s much more bearable, and that's a big task.

I'm sure it will be a balancing act between adding sound deadening and keeping the overall weight down.

A good point was made about road noise. It should be significantly more quiet in at least tire noise since two of the three are away from the cabin.

At 120 it might be noisier than my bike, but I doubt it...crank up the tunes and giver a go.

My fore family fell off a boatload of cajuns headed for Narllns and eventually ended up in Memphis. That's my story and I'm sticken to it.

A good point was made about road noise. It should be significantly more quiet in at least tire noise since two of the three are away from the cabin.

I know our '13 Hyundai Elantra has a lot of road noise, but it could be the crappy OEM tires.

Tires are paramount. I think Paul is co-opting with Cooper tire. I'm not knowledgeable of Cooper tire.
