12 Gauge shot gun or perhaps a 357 Magnum should do the trick. Remember kiddies....always shot to kill when your Elio is being molested. I can't stand a thief!

Put a little toggle switch under the dash on my 1955 Buick Roadmaster. Starter would engage but never start if the switch was off. It went to the hot side of the coil :) The doors would not lock, and the switch had the key broken off in it.

I seriously doubt that theft will be much of a problem, at least until there are thousands of them out on the road. New they won't have anything of value to the mass public, as their parts will not fit on any of the cars currently on the road. Even off the shelf parts won't work unless they know what those parts will work on. Vandalism may be a totally different story.
