Josh has done a great job helping get questions answered and Jerome and the Elio tour team were awesome as usual and very willing to answer all of our questions!

Unfortunately I was caught in a major traffic jam and it took me 2.5 hours to make it the last few miles into the show. But I did eventually get to see the Elio again and got to enjoy a visit with the back seat which was not too bad.
Reminds me of our trip to Denver, accident on the free way held us up for over 4 hours.........but finally made it and it was worth it.

I agree with Joshua. From what I noticed nearly everyone who took the time to really look at the vehicle walked away very impressed which lead to a constant line to make a reservation on the spot. This was my second time seeing the vehicle and it still surprises me how impressive the prototype is when you have the chance to experience it in person.

There were many reservation holders and interested people who came out to the air show specifically to see the vehicle in person. When Joshua and myself waited in the line together nearly everyone around us was already aware of the Elio and had come out to see it. One guy behind us was 6'6" tall and was there to see if he would fit before making a reservation. He told us that his issue was not usually leg room but instead head room as he has a long torso. He fit in the vehicle just fine. Conversely I am about a foot shorter at 5'6" and I also felt plenty comfortable behind the wheel. :)

Good morning JC. Just curious, have they told you how the reservations (sales) are going?
I can't tell from photos but is the headliner fabric or hard plastic?
And will all the cars come with carpet flooring? Is there an option?

Good morning, I will be back at the Airshow in an hour, post your questions and I will relay them.

1. in thinking about blind spots, will the mirrors will be flat or convex

2. what size will the mirrors be .... if flat, will they be large enough to attach a small convex mirror

3. has the prototype undergone any testing making sharp turns at high to moderate speeds

4. will there be storage space (other than the trunk) for a woman's purse (I have been instructed by the person in my home who has a major say in a decision to purchase ;) )

5. will there be front and rear cup holders (same source for this question o_O )

Carpet flooring and cloth headliner standard, reservations at the show are going good, they haven't added things up yet

1-2) not sure but will be larger and already big enough for stick on mirrors.
3) no, just for the P3 slalom video
4) in door panels, depends on size of purse
5) yes , 1 front and 1 back

Hi JC, thanks for taking questions. Here are a couple I forgot to ask yesterday.

1) Will the ground clearance be the same as on the P4? I'm a little concerned of the proximity of some suspension components to ground.
2) Are they still planning a belly pan? Will it cover the entire bottom of the Elio including the exhaust? What will it be made of and will it be simple to remove for repairs?
3) Are the brake hoses in the front wheels braided?
4) What kind of updates are we likely to see in the interior (dash particularly)? Things seemed rather blocky and retro.
5) Will the stick on the automatic be just a simple stick or will it have a nice ergonomic rounded top I can rest my hand on (I do a lot of engine breaking)?

Josh,
Please ask or measure the overall width from outside of one fender to the outside of the other and post that info.
I was asked to do this but did not make it into the show.
Thanks.
