Yep, I rounded the 37mph up. There was some indication top speed may increase somewhat with a USA version. Acceleration is more key for me and electrics are quick. However, for around town, the fun of the tilting scootercycle and the range would be fine for my application. Even the autoworld test drivers that have test driven high performance said the iRoad had a blast to drive factor. It is what it is an enclosed three wheel cityscootercycle.Hey Rick,
The iRoad's top speed is 40km per hour, not 40mph. Toyota lists is as 28mph.
The range is 30 miles with a charge time of 3 hours via a 110v household outlet.
It has no real-world use for me with the speed limitation.
Edit: I've seen a review that listed the top speeds @ 28mph in Europe and 37mph in Japan.
