In the video it says you can haul a 55 gal drum of water in a third world country, so I guess you could get a passenger somewhere.

Yea, I noticed that. And at 8.34 lbs per gallon, = 458.7 lbs + the DRUM...=real close to 500lbs. I would guess it to be an exaggeration.

I agree. That is what I was thinking when I heard them say that in the video. But it is a pretty neat bike.
