I am almost certain that you can sell a copy of any picture you take . On a tee shirt or in a frame or to a newspaper for mass distribution. I am pretty sure the photographer is first in line to own the copyright otherwise the "paparazzi" would be SOL .

I don't think the picture is the problem. The Elio emblem and other aspects of Elio may be trademarked/protected by a copyright.

I'll give you an example that went to court and the result.
A vendor at Star Trek conventions was taking digital screenshots of the shows and printing the screenshots on T-Shirts. CBS objected, the vendor lost in court.
The same vendor then took photographs of a TV playing the shows, same scenes as before, and printing the photographs on T-Shirts. CBS objected, the vendor won in court.

Never said they did. A lot of members have been crying because Paul is not putting out enough information. Some were talking about the possibility of getting someone from EM to be a member, or something like that. I will change the post as not to leave so much room for some people to read into it and stir s-hit.
