I would buy it anyway. I already have $1500 in credit so the total I would owe at that point would be about $10K out the door with a few options, taxes, and such. That is still not horrible deal.

Well I sure hope you had the refundable deposit. I'm all in for 1K. I know what I'm getting into and there's no blaming anybody but me then again this fantasy ride is not over yet...I'm betting that with any luck...and it's gonna take more than just luck it'll have a happy ending!

It would be really nice if EM gives us a heads up that your number is up for assembly! I will gladly travel to the factory and video the process from beginning to end...kinda like the tv show "how it's made".

That is cool! BTW as I read all of these posts I realize how lucky I am that I live in Oregon. There is one expense I will not have and that is sales tax. Every little bit helps and the money I would save at say 6% is the amount I need for my next upgrade. :-) I like that! Z

I've been on the Honda assembly plants tours. All camera/video devices must be left at the door before entering.
Perhaps Elio will not be as protective of the assembly process.

I would be surprised if they let you video the assembly process. But, it would be great if the did.

Maybe I should be more realistic and hope that the Elio assembly line is at least all set up including the suppliers that will share the space by end of this year. Then I know they're ready to roll some Elios by the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2015. That's the video I want to see!
