There is no start production date. Never really has been one nor will there likely be one anytime soon. All you can do is wait and hope. I will now be long retired before I see Elio 8019. Daughter wanted to get in line for one I advised against it. She can have mine when it shows up and if they are in production I just buy another one. I gave up caring about so called production dates and projections some time back.

Paul Elio already stated that 100 preproduction models has been delayed to Q3. Either the reporter got it wrong, or it's the Elio team still not being on the same page.
