Well, I only got in on the Elio for the fun that I could get with it. For me it's just another toy. I am still looking forward to the time when I can be driving my blue Elio with Yellow (horrors) fenders (my college colors). In the meantime I went out and bought an ultralight airplane. I'm having a ball with that. I still ride my yellow (yes, yellow) Harley Davidson. At 80 years old I have to take my pleasures as I can.
Good to stay young by staying active and having fun! I’m buying my first motorcycle (Yellow or Harley Orange/Black) at age 71 and hope to drive/ride it for a decade, have some fun, and then let it drive me around in autonomous mode.
Hey Rickb, don't they have to invent autonomous mode for 2 wheelers first?
It would have to be a self balancing 2 wheeler.
Makes me think back on the 6 years I wasted and the refundable deposit I had on the Lit Motor’s C-1. Still my favorite vehicle concept.

In 10 years I’ll more likely be riding this 2 wheeler self balancer badboy available today in a variety of custom colors with a top speed of 18-20 mph (as I recall). Hopefully, Elio has a receiver/trailer hitch option so I can haul it.
