I've figured this out too. I can still make grocery stops and just use the back seat. I'm just wondering if it'll be better to leave the seat up and use all of the backseat from the floor to the roof, and use the trunk seperately, or if I should put the backseat down and use it all as one piece.
I would wager this will become abundantly clear upon receipt of our Elio's!

It might just be "a little crowded" with all your pets. One solution I know of, Bed Bath and Beyond sells vacuum plastic storage bags, just used them on a recent move, judging from my experience, the extra large size sounds like it'll do it, they are re-uable too!, just a suggestion
That is no way to travel with your animals RU. I'm ashamed of you...;)

you're right!, my bad, I used to use just cardboard boxes, but their visibility was limited so I thought the plastic would be an improvement

Really think you can go that far without a pit stop?
Sure you can! Just slap on a catheter. At the end of your trip dilute the product at least 3 to 1 with water and pour the results on your compost heap, or directly onto your lawn or garden. Just be careful to avoid pouring directly onto things like lettuce or strawberries. And remember to wash or rinse your produce thoroughly before eating, because we all know how well cats and dogs obey orders to not pee in the garden.

(That's a prepper trick I read about a few years back. If you have to live "off-grid", try to separate your "liquid waste" from your "solid waste" because otherwise it will screw up the balance in your compost; and dilute it before using it as fertilizer because otherwise it will kill your plants. Fertilizer burn.)

I'm in the almost-always-solo bracket. I do know from experience that I can fold the rear seat down and carry a tripod, a back-pack sized camera bag, and a large duffel. It's tight, but can do. With a passenger? Drive to the movies and back, because you aren't carrying much else. Good thing the dog died, because it's the pooch or the luggage, not both.
