I say -- computer graphic composite. It's not just the color, which can be highly variable, it's the lighting, presence or absence of shadow, odd feeling of lack of depth, edges too pristine. Oh, yeah, and the complete absence of distortion in what would have to be an extreme wide-angle shot to get the entire cockpit in from that vantage point.

If I were doing this, I'd use a very wide angle lens, very high aperture, with the camera tethered and strapped / taped to the seat back. Then I'd correct distortion in Photoshop, using the Adaptive Wide Angle filter. And it still wouldn't look right, although the shadows would be deeper. So I conclude it's a computer generated graphic based on the P4.

The most realistic thing about this shot is the reflection in the windshield! Sharp eyes for the orange wheel spat... but again, color in these things isn't ironclad. Whoever did this is good -- but not great.

Yes, we can wait until tomorrow and find out what the P5 is like, but I find all this speculation we are doing to be fun, and it is much better than television.

This is like the day before Christmas wandering what is going to be under the tree.,

You mean the day before the day before Christmas right? I learned how to wrap gifts by rewrapping after peaking.....'tis a wonder Dad didn't find out and send me on yet another aerial transit across the room.

This. It's a photoshop of photos of the P4, modified with what is supposed to be the P5 configuration.

Also, I don't really like it. Too much dead space, and all that bright, brushed aluminum is too in-your-face. I'm OK with the gauge faces being the lighter color, but the back panel should be a matte black.

The numbers on the gauges look positively tiny. I hope they're visible enough.

Off topic, but I have a new website, with a handful of car pix, and a link to my stock photography collections. http://hatchphotoartistry.com Check it out, and feedback is useful because things are still being tweaked.

You definitely have an artist's eye when looking through the camera's viewfinder/lens. Creative and technically balanced photographic images indeed!
