It is not someone inside EM if that is what you are asking.

thank you .... as you read through various threads and post, you will see a wide range of comments covering speculation in every direction .... we do have a few members who have developed various levels of relationships with folks who work for EM .... over time their reports have proven to have a high degree of credibility ..... we also get a bunch which later are shown to be internet rumor for lack of a better term .... not attempting to cast any doubt or support, when I hear such a comment that may well make sense on the surface, I try to find out if the source is in a position to know or if the source is looking at what is known and drawing a conclusion from there

Purely speculation on my part. I have a gut feeling that Elio is not a high priority at IAV. Kind of "space available" so to speak. We were told a few weeks ago of dynamometer time for Elio being bumped by a higher priority job. If VW, BMW, Merk, or Bugatti has a hot project guess who goes to the back of the line. Point is engine development delays are to be expected. No big deal and not in any way EM's fault. However EM has to take the heat from a bunch of knuckleheads who don't have the big picture.

Please provide your source so we can read it or ask them. The information I stated is readily available.

Just reading your comment seems to imply a conspiracy rumor. They are continuing the legal drive for the Elio autocycle. The work on the engine is still progressing. They are still doing tours. And the heartbeat of the Elio couldn't be tested because IAV wasn't paid? The Elio Engine has been running. This was provided by Dusty from Elio.

Where or who is your source of the stated information?

For me the postponement was not what I had hoped for, and had EM stated "has been delayed ,the engine is running well and a ,new date to be posted soon".
That would have been acceptable.
But the conflict in schedule, and the implication that it was more than one person who couldn't make it two days before showtime, was more information than I needed to know, and only made it worse by that explanation that somebody(s), had to actually be next to the engine, in person, at that time, and date.
Big calamity, no. (the funding issue was worse), can only hope they keep whatever their progress under wraps until that phases is successful. (and a longer lead in time if it isn't gonna happen.)
This is not an open-ended progression, there are time/financial constraints down the road. The next few months seem to be extremely important to keep the project alive.
BTY I "don't have the big picture" and sadly anyone who thinks they do, is doing themselves a disservice.

sorry, that lets me out .... on boats, bikes and all other forms of transportation, if I can't turn a key or pull a rope and hear a rumble, I ain't going
o.k. you can run the outboard, the one without the electric start then you get it all rope, key, rumble.!
And a personalized ELIO- PFD (your choice of color) (which we can only hope can keep us afloat!)
