The squares below the speaker grills looks like defroster output so the windshield and both windows get some airflow to get defrosted.

I'm hoping the radio is just a bluetooth device. Get in the Elio, start it up, your phone pairs with the stereo and you get hands free calling, music, voice commands etc.

I was told a 16months ago, the hands-free is part of an option for maybe $250 if you don't want the Skyz system. A lot can change in 16 months.

16 months ago it was a different radio manufacturer.
We just need to wait and see what the options really are.

Hopefully when the myelio site goes live we'll start to get a much better idea of the options available. It would be in Elio/partners/aftermarkets best interest to get that site live now, and let us configure our options. They'll get good market research data from that for free.
