I have a set of keys for Trailers but I figure I don't need those unless I'm in my truck so that's where they stay. I have my truck key, toolbox key, and house key. That's it.

My daughter has 2 keys... car and house... and about 3 pounds of charms, various hanging crap, and a neck lanyard (I guess in case it gets to heavy to carry). She did learn from Dad, at least, that when using her car key, it is separated from all the crap.

Where are retinal scans now that we need them? Pretty soon we're all going to be chipped. Or else have an instant DNA scanner come out which might be even worse. I can just see having to spit on your mechanic so he can open the car door and do his thing.

A "good" system will require you to blink at some point to prevent someone from using a picture to gain access...
Not necessarily. Most systems that I'm familiar with use systems that can detect depth, i.e., your cheekbones will be closer to the camera than your eyes but not as close as the tip of your nose, and so on. This prevents the use of photos to "game" the system.

Photos are a greater danger with inexpensive fingerprint systems. High end fingerprint systems will include infrared sensors to ensure that there is a live, warm organism behind that fingerprint. (That also keeps someone from chopping off your thumb to gain access to a system.)

Nah, keep it in a warm water bath til needed, or use a mini-microwave before the critical moment.

I'm not looking forward to refusing the Mark of the Beast.

My ignition key has the fob built in, my 'house key' is the garage door opener, so only one key. At home all my rigs have the keys left in the ignition, it keeps me from having to look for them.
