That's how they came to me; if someone has a Facebook account maybe they have them on there so they can get a better copy.

I'll see if I can get a screen scrape of the one's in that email and enlarge them; I know there are many others on here that are much better at that then I am.

Did you try simply right clicking on the photos and saving them? Then they can be reposted here as images. I have done this on other Elio photos form emails...I just didn't receive this particular email.

Well let's give it a shot and see what happens

That's as big as it will do with my limited tools for pictures
Looks like the same size to me; sorry.
But if someone else wants to try, more power to you.

Looking closely at the clutch fork I figured it would be cable controlled. A barrel on the end of the cable with the barrel engaging both sides of the clutch fork. Cable would probably be cheaper than hydraulics.
Thnaks. Lots of ways that can bind or wear .... but if it works for your motorcycle throttle, it ought to be ok here.

I've read that the only difference between the manual and automatic Elio trannies is that in the auto version the computer decides the shift points, while in the manual you decide them. This suggests that the shifter really just sends an electronic signal to an actuator mounted on the transmission. In the automatic version the actuator has a brain, and in the manual, well, it doesn't and hopes the driver does! But the actuation itself is servo-driven, in which case no real force is needed to move the cable.

Have I got this right?

for the same reason (whatever that may be) that the Creamsicle color of the P4 is not the same Creamsicle color that will be used on production vehicles .. :noidea:
JEBar, please say some more about this. What is the difference, and how did you find this out?

I tried it with heavy-duty images resizing tools. Original is too compressed to enlarge without pixellation. Period. It's too bad; the first "under construction" shots were decent sized and you could see detail well. Not on these puppies, unfortunately.

Yeah lossy compression is a one way deal, at least in the real world. On TV they could enhance and zoom to see the serial numbers on the back side of parts.

Well, then, that's it! Someone get their digital camera to take a picture of the picture on their monitor! That way, we can expand it to our heart's content!

(But only if you have, like, a really, really big monitor. And guys, no lying or exaggerating.)
