Pep Boys To Provide Service / Maintenance

It is only 8 miles for me but it is highly likely that I will be moving into that North Dakota,South Dakota, Wyoming hole of Elio void.

The nice thing about being a city boy, 6min for 2mi. i.e. I typically put my bike in the trunk when taking the car to PepBoys and bike home... not sure how that would work in the Elio though - guess I can break out the roller blades.

Not yet. The Air Force tells me where to go. I work with big missiles and those bases are in the middle of nowhere.

Ouch, hopefully not as a missile operator - I've read how that's the worst job in the AF due to boredom and micromanagement from hell. A necessary job, but still.

I'd do it if not for the micromanagement part, I like being alone anyway for the most part.

I've been following Elio for 5 years. In that time they have done exactly what they said they would do in getting this close to production. I received the Tech Talk email regarding the Pep Boys Announcement and believe they will follow through on this last statement so I am not going to worry about service. Hopefully, the Elio won't need more than routine maintenance and our current favorite local auto mechanics will be able to handle that and more.

Well at least you might have some company and there is decent scenery in SD, not to mention Wall Drug juat north of I-90 in Wall, SD. That place is a zoo now but back in the 50's they were the first place a traveler could stop and get free ice water at the soda fountain. Owned by the Heusted family, Father and son. I like WY but am no fan of ND. Good luck to you Ty where ever you end up, There ought to be some new roads to tour in your Elio.

I lived in South Dakota for 63 years before the winters finally drove me out to Idaho. Hot fresh Donuts at Wall Drug! I've eaten my share. You will like SD..........ND not so sure.
