At least we won't have to worry about tire rotation.Yes the widths are yet to be determined but the rear tire is to be wider than the front two.
Is your knowledge based on your Texas location or are you familiar with facilities in the 36 or so other states that have PB units. Just asking since I am pretty sure every unit is a bit different.Okay...Let me get this straight, one of the top ten worst repair centers which hire parts replacers and only one half way decent tech is what they are going to use for repair support?...Really?...having the pleasure of knowing quite a few excellent Auto Techs, none of which would ever dream of working for such a under rated repair facility...
You WILL want to rotate front left to right periodically. At least we won't have to worry about tire rotation.
I wouldn't expect to find a highly rated tech at any of these types of places. In the first place pay is probably substandard. What I would expect is to find a degree of competence commensurate with the job. It has been stated that the Elio is a simple vehicle. I, therefore see no problem. Why go looking to fabricate angst before you even know what might be involved. I believe that Einstein could have changed a set of spark plugs, but then so can my 13 year old neighbor girl.Okay...Let me get this straight, one of the top ten worst repair centers which hire parts replacers and only one half way decent tech is what they are going to use for repair support?...Really?...having the pleasure of knowing quite a few excellent Auto Techs, none of which would ever dream of working for such a under rated repair facility...
Even for warranty work? What if the don't reimburse?Looking at online customer service reviews Pep Boys isn't going to be a JD Powers award winner but it is what it is. It sounded like Elio will honor warranty work at auto service centers in areas that have no Pep Boys. I plan on using my own trusted mechanic.
Based on Elio's statement regarding service options, I think they will honor warranty work thru authorized service providers in areas with or without Pep Boys. If not I can't buy an Elio because I won't have a service option.Even for warranty work? What if the don't reimburse?
