Elio Rally. I am in. You just set the place and give me a few months to plan my vacation. We can have one in every state and see how many we can get to. It is going to be fun to meet all the people on the forum. Some of you have been talking for two years. I am new, but still feel like I am part of a great group of people.
I don't know if I'd do every state, maybe regionals and then a national.
You know there will be a lot of local clubs.

The more I read, the more I believe that Elio people are good folk with traditional American values. .
It may sound corny but I'm really glad I saw that Elio ad on TV about a month ago, checked it out on line then went "All In" and met you people on this forum. Life is good and it will get even better when production starts. SIL 19784 Looking forward to Elio Rallies.

I think the primary characteristic of the group is conservativism. Most of us seek to save what we have and teach conservative values to our children. The Elio is about having conservative transportation and being able to afford commuting. That conservative value is evident in other aspects of our lives.

This thread has wandered between wives becoming interested in getting an Elio of their own, credit card debt, and millennials, divorce and conservative financial and family values. The thread title begs the question of "Who is buying the Elio". I read a lot of the forums and it seems that at least the most vocal are men 40-70 years old. Does anyone have the demographic breakdown on the reservation holders? College age students, teens, young heads of families, old bikers who are looking at a time when they can't hold the bike up (me), divorced men or women who have no need for another front seat. Logical commuters who see the value and safety of a light commuter car for getting back and forth to work. In reality, I think all these and more are representative. Can anyone confirm that there is a wide group of buyers???? I looked for a poll, but did not see it. Point it out to me if you have it.

Aahz started a blog last Monday called "Golden Run" about a meeting in Colorado. He's trying to get up some interest in starting it up. Sounds like a lot of fun?

As has been stated by many viewpoints, the current reservation holders are not the ones that would typically buy the Elio when production is more tangible to the public. There is substantial evidence that there is a large population demographic who is highly interested but resistive to early deposits.

We are now typically older and having a bit more 'play' money to apply than the larger population that will buy the Elio in the moment (rather than in the future). There is evidence that there is as much as 122 years of back log interest at the projected production rate.
