There is evidence that there is as much as 122 years of back log interest at the projected production rate.[/QUOTE]
I could believe that, but would like a reference or a little information on that poll or evidence. Did Paul Elio gather some of that evidence?

The biggest mistake I made on my business startup was that I did not correctly identify the population that I would be serving. That alone has cost me approximately 20% of my potential business. Knowing that we do not represent all of the potential Elio buyers, I will say that it is very important to know who the other buyers will be. I wouldn't want to exclude some buyers because we didn't recognize their requirements. Who are those people in that 122 years of backlog?

EM paid for a independent study, 2000 people were surveyed across all major demographics. 28% expressed high or very high interest in buying it now if it were available right now at $7600.

Projected to the full population of households, meaning expecting to limit to one per household, (2.38 people) it still came out to 122 years of production. Since that is taken by household, it is a conservative estimate, that would be about ? 1.75 ? drivers on average. Since the actual interest surveyed was by person, it might push the true backlog up even more. If the price is ultimately under $7600, the popularity may grow.

When a backlog is under served, then attrition over time comes into play, meaning during that 122 year, some people will want a replacement vehicle, but of course by then some of the backlog could be satisfied by used Elio sales, but not all of it.

Anyway the bottom line is, all Elio production is highly likely to be 100% sold for some number of years, even if the novelty factor wears out a bit.

I think the Ref is Elio's form 10 submission to the SEC around May 2016,

Thanks AriLea that makes sense and I can see these taking off like that when more people from many demographic get a chance to buy one. I have my cash in hand ready to pick mine up. If I could just decide between the Automatic and the AMT transmission,
