RS, The FUV is not dead, gasping for breath yes, but Arcimoto has not filed for bankruptcy. There is a handful of dedicated employees at the AMP providing parts and service to FUV owners. Although I am no longer a fan.. Should Arcimoto happen to get up and running with the new and improved fully enclosed FUV 1.x platform and contract nationwide local sales and service partners……..I’d buy one…….based on my positive test drive experience. If a fully certified BEX reaches production status and the test drive meets my expectations……I would require a local sales and service dealership to buy one.

Not me... I'm thinking that's going to be quite difficult & costly to set up.

As long there is a service manual and a parts list (where each off the shelf part came from), I'll turn my own wrenches. I'm not expecting a warranty nor service center.

As far as a test drive, it appears Mark and I are about the same height. I figure if he can drive the Mongrel comfortably, I'll have no issues.

Just tell me where to fly to (in the contiguous US) and I'll pick up the Mongrel and drive it home. My girlfriend and I can't wait to take this vehicle on multiple adventures.

Same can be said about Elio. So we have two companies that there's no way we can contact them who are still in business.
