New Site Direction?

Not a debate. Arcimoto was dead to me along time ago, but if they make a comeback with a fully enclosed FUV 1.x and local sales and service dealers, I’ll buy one, because it was a blast to drive.

Three wheelers are a niche market. No matter how much fun (a Vanderhall is super fun) it shows why Arcimoto and Elio failed. Vanderhall keeps going because they know three wheelers are a niche and build out accordingly. Instead of thinking that they can sell 50K per year, they know if they crank out 1K per year, that's OK. Plus being privately held, they only need to answer to themselves and dealers. Just like the old Aptera discussion we had. They had big dreams too and here they are, not even close to production, lack of interest and lack of investment. They think they can sell 20K per year.

For Arcimoto, they found out that no matter how many times you mention, "FUN" or make videos of happy people driving them, it never equated into real sales. If you notice, FUN vehicles rarely sell in big numbers. Practical ones do. Right sized transportation along with rock star parking, is not an incentive either. Plus, getting them out on the road did not make it take off either.

Could be that Marks BEX will be shipped over in boxes and assembled here.

I'm fine with that too... If I can put that IKEA bookshelf together (with just pictures), I'm sure I can assemble the Mongrel. Just don't include that little Allen Wrench (LOL)!!

My only fear is that some type of snafu will occur while attempting to title, tag and insure the BEX. But, I'm sure Mark already has that figured out.

I am hoping that when we receive our BEX Mongrels, we will help each other out with maintenance and repairs. Although, I can't make videos, I can certainly take pictures and offer explanations. I'm hoping the site/forum will continue in that capacity.

I think a change to general three wheelers would be good. Fresh blood would definately appear.

But a full section to the BEX should be kept, or at least the one development thread. It was very-very good to show all the development steps that such a project required. Almost as good as getting a 'BS' degree in Automove Power, ahhh, of which I have one...lol.

Maybe a high level segregation/grouping into the various interests, like Sports, Trouring, Commuting, or this series, Engineering, Travel Experiences, Concepts, Existing, Commercial R & D, social clubs. Maybe all of that.

This last year I've been redirected by my aging family issues, politics (which I've soured on), and an interest in everything supernatural. But I still may generate more RT concept artwork.

I will try and post some recent youtube submissions into the catalog or morphic threads today.(maybe)

several such avenues have been under consideration for a good while .... when this forum was started its anchor was Elio with various non-Elio sub forums ..... that format proved to be successful .... we've all seen numerous 3-wheelers come and go ..... for a good while we have focused on the BEX and have every reason to believe it will come to production .... Mark has informally endorsed our forum .... for now we are in holding pattern and hope to make some positive moves soon

Well than, how about a bunch of 3 wheelers, some with bad descriptions, some with unbelievable descriptions (what else would you expect from a Nationally acclaimed description magazine, proof reading?) but I guess anything goes.
