Not me... I'm thinking that's going to be quite difficult & costly to set up.I would require a local sales and service dealership to buy one.
Not exactly the same. Arcimoto crossed the production finish line, sold a few fully certified FUVs to happy customers, and is still open for business and providing parts and service to FUV owners. I believe Paul is selling used cars? The FUV is not dead, gasping for breath yes, but Arcimoto has not filed for bankruptcy.
Same can be said about Elio. So we have two companies that there's no way we can contact them who are still in business.
Oddly most owners aren’t pissed and are enjoying their FUVs…….many over 20K fun filled miles. The FUV Club members are a tight knit group of owners, supporting one another, offering advice based on personal experience. They still have parts and service assist from a few hard core long time Arcimoto employees. A couple of the former mobile service techs are still making service calls. I’d be pissed had I not cancelled my order. With that said, early adopters understood the risk……they were test pilots supporting a new startup with no guaranteed success and no proven market demand to justify mass production numbers required for an affordable MSRP.Arcimoto went to the production finish line and went broke after that. So they literally have lots of irritated people, which the company left them hanging for just basic parts and service (unless you live in Eugene). I think that is worse than Elio. Imagine spending $25K on an Aptera and then having it sit for months. Then selling it for about $5K two years later. Thus, you just lost, let's say $15K. Way better than the $1K that people that lost that at Elio. Crossing that production finish line and leaving people with a faulty product along with zero service (unless you live in Eugene) is not what I say is a benefit over Elio. At least Elio didn't go broke after selling a bunch of them and only to find out the value is gone as it becomes a financial albatross.
I also like how people are still waiting for their half doors and have to resort to buying used ones. Good job Arcimoto. Let people pay for something and then never deliver it. Elio never promised a thing and thus that's a little bit better. Not much but better.
You have a phone number for Arcimoto for people to buy parts and service? I looked up the company and only number I got after about a week of looking is no good. So why do they make it so hard for this?
Here's the thing. You hear from the same 20 people that seem to live in the Eugene area. They love them but there are 1K of them out there and either they are put up for sale at a heavily discounted price or the rest are silent and typically have them bricked in a garage somewhere. If it was so loved, there should be at least 800 people just raving about them. Yet if they are not. It must be some super secret group. Also, where are all of these YT videos of people having fun with them? I'd think they would be like over a year ago where they showed them over and over again. Yet today, it's AI videos showing non FUV vehicles. Let's not forget, to get that service is just a gamble.Oddly most owners aren’t pissed and are enjoying their FUVs…….many over 20K fun filled miles. Not a debate. Arcimoto was dead to me along time ago, but if they make a comeback with a fully enclosed FUV 1.x and local sales and service dealers, I’ll buy one, because it was a blast to drive. Here's the thing. Arcimoto is dead than that's it. People are left with the walking dead vehicles. I look at it as Mark Frohmeyer just flipped his loyal customers the bird and walked off onto his next adventure. The new management is run by a guy that is an expert at failure. Most likely to just try to turn the company into something else. If he was a real leader, he would not be in hiding. Yet he is nowhere to be found. I'm guessing he might be Paul Elio's head of refurbished used car dealer in Phoenix. It's the best place to hide, as nobody will ever confront you.
