Here is a lineup of EV pickups that offer useful range as a daily workhorse with fast charge capability.
Trailer Towing greatly reduces the range.

"In real-world tests, the Lightning's towing range can be cut in half. For example, one MotorTrend test found that the Platinum model couldn't even cover 100 miles when towing a camper"

Then there's this.
interesting modernizing of an old concept .... high/low campers have been around for a long time .... unless their site is organized in a manner that I can't figure out while certainly eye catching, their website fails to provide some important specifics..... examples: floor plans, details on kitchen, bathroom, storage, ground clearance, tires, holding tanks and their capacities etc

A thought: I find it hard to believe, that out of the approximately 70,000 people who subscribed to the Elio, that only a hand full are concerned enough to participate on this site. Are all the rest just resigned to loosing their deposits and simply giving up? I, for one, am disappointed and pissed-off at the whole situation. And Paul Elio; what a nerve he has. No info, just an occasional dose of b.s. on his site so he can claim Elio Motors is "working on it", to keep the illusion alive so he doesn.t have to finally resolve the situation by admitting it's all over. That would require a reckoning and explanation, and god knows he doesn't want that. I, for one, am a stubborn s.o.b. with a long memory and if I can't get my car I'll keep reminding him about it.

His site? What's his site? But, not to pass judgement on our friends who don't check every day. They are just smarter than us and has learn to move on. WELL, My name ain't Grace. I'm the one who chased an ex for 16 years and got the child support out of him AND now he is DEAD. I want to do the same to Paul Elio. Sweet Little Miss LillyMay, my ass. I Want my Elio.
In other news. My Precious 2001 Grand Marquis died. She had a massif brain stroke. The mechanics all tried for weeks to revive her and just couldn't. So, I found a new 2000 Grand Marquis, Cherry Red, clean as a whistle and only 80 thousand miles on her! New shocks, new tires, drives like a Queen. She is beautiful.
So, I'll wait. Sure would like that web site from you, JohnJ.

Everyone has given up. It's a fact. We all know it's not going to happen. Paul did what I predicted years ago, run out the clock. People just move on and the company disappeared. Only hope some have is that Paul pays a few bucks a year to have the initial page on a URL. He is devoting his time to his used car dealership that takes salvage cars and refurbishes them. I'd think there must be at least one person in Phoenix that put down a non refundable deposit would go visit him and just have a nice talk as to what he plans to do. So far, nobody has. So it shows everyone doesn't care. We are realistic and know that a $7450 vehicle that gives 84 mpg will never happen.

People can contact him yet they do not. I don't care because I made plenty off the Elio stock, so I am happy to make money off of Elio Motors. As for the rest that lost a bunch, sorry but you know where to contact him and ask. If you don't then you literally gave up.

At this point we just watch what's going to happen to the BEX. We know the FUV is dead and the only other super expensive three wheeler out there that seems to be another one of these marathon fundraising projects is Aptera. I only see them once in a while and hope the best for them but just like with Elio, they can claim the markets are broken as to why they can't get the funding they need.
