This new information (along with a lot of previously known things) has really made me a bit worried about how many things there are still to do before production is scheduled to begin in late 2015. Doesn't it seem a bit, to say the least, ambitious? Haha. Still trying to keep optimistic though.

REALLY, the vehicle is extremely simple !
MOST of the vehicle is in the front 1/3 !
the back 2/3 is just a shell with a trailing swing arm

but they have to gear tip to make 38,000 !

The final version will have an iPad mini. I have read that it will be stored in the radio slot, so I assume it will replace the radio.
The iPad has a dimming feature.

That's a shame. I was hoping it would completely replace the standard instrument panel, but deep down I kind of knew that's what it was going to be. Oh well, guess I'll be saving myself 1.5 - 2k.

I'm not sure where they got that information from, but this is a very current article. Now don't everyone go changing their calendars, but this is an interesting quote.

Just from looking at the picture it seems it could be a major distraction in addition to blocking the AC/Heating vent. Too bad it couldn't be a replacement option for the beloved Elgin dash

I learned to drive on a stick. 11 of the 21 vehicles I've owned were stick, I'm a guy that likes the fun of being in full control of my vehicles, especially my Sky roadster. Love is shifting through the twisties.

My Grinnall Scorpions, using BMW motorcycle engines, all have 6 speed sequential shifting, requiring just a tap on the short-throw stick

No offense intended, but A/C is for keeping the house cool in the summer. When I drive my Sky, the top is always down. Automatic transmissions are for those who don't know how to speed shift and enjoy the thrill of real driving. Red is the fastest color, whereas yellow is the color of a lemon.
