Paul will be able to take the millions he and his "engineering firm" made on non-refundable deposits and make a killing in the stock market when it shoots straight up after all of this is over. He'll then be able to have the Eliocoin re-coded and reach the 300+M goal it will take to get the line started. He is, indeed, a genius.Caution: Sarcastic Post
Paul Elio is a genius and is way ahead of the curve. By not starting up the plant he has avoided all this coronavirus mess. I'm sure he, and all the rest of the "employees" are already working from home too. We should thank him for being a visionary leader. He probably also realizes the Solo is a much better idea in that the Elio would put people much too close together. The Solo gives each individual their own bubble of protection. One more nail in the Elio coffin?
Better than having the American fleet of motorcycles loaded up with fifteen family members at a time like some in India and Pakistan.I would be interesting if only single passenger cars would be allowed. Solo's would take off and motorcycles would have to have their rear pegs removed. USA then would look like Japan. Paul could probable just take the rear seat out and move the driver seat back some and qualify.
Thing is, Paul never said anything on camera or in front of people. It was a disclaimer written on FB. Unless you analyzed the video, you'd have no idea Paul was even there. I would really like to know what was going on with that whole deal. It seems to me that it was Stu using his clout from the Dayton deal that he was somehow going to make the Lordstown deal work. In the end, I look at it as a dog an pony show for a last ditch effort to get people behind Elio Motors and the gov to get excited about it and throw some incentives toward Elio to get all of those people back to work. From looking at the feedback, it was a no deal and the we know how it all turned out. What is sad is that this thread is over a year old and zero progress since then. We got an oddball meeting with the governor on Ohio last April but I think that was the last peep from Paul?
