The Chinese build a better more efficient vehicle? Safer? High mpg? Frankly, I don't think China and/or the European markets are Elio markets. They need narrow EV's not narrow GAS sippers. Actually, I would prefer a more affordable EV with a functional range. Also, Civic owners will likely buy the Elio as a commuter and use their Civic as the 'big' family car.

Actually, Honda, Toyota, and Nissan could do a joint marketing campaign with Elio Motors............Buy one of ours and get an Elio for only $3400 or a BOGO promotion. A win, win, win! The time has come for change in the wonderful world of transportation........and Elio has the vision, momentum, and support to make it happen.

I like to watch Shark Tank!
I have noticed tho, their main concern is maximizing profit margins. Now, I'm not against making money, and I hope EM becomes profitable and highly successful. But it's clear to me that maximum profit is not their goal.
We look at the big auto makers and we think, "they sell a car like the Versa for 12K, because that is as "low as they can go" and still turn a profit. When (closer to) the truth is, they ask themselves, "what is the MOST we can charge and still sell a bunch of them?"

Correction.
Choose to believe if you will, but there are so many business reasons, and the harsh side of business strategy that doesn't really give the Elio chance barely to get out of the gate, unfortunately. I want an Elio or two, but I know the business model, and more importantly, how big business would react to any small bit of just initial success they are not even likely to get.

Are you politely describing the cancer of crony capitalism where the Conglomerates send in their hire political officials to impede the little guy long enough make him an offer he can't refuse thus buying him out and stashing the Elio idea away perhaps for ever?
