I could cite a closer example but won'tA great leader surrounds himself with intelligent advisers. A bad leader makes sure that HE is the most intelligent person in the room. Example: the current leader of North Korea. And we see how that country is "flourishing"
I think most of us know.I could cite a closer example but won't

The company should only publicly report positives and work out any bumps they have along the way privately. The public is already over speculating Elio's every move.
Unfortunately there isn't a polite way to say yes here, the same way the larger motor companies are even in collusion together to squeeze and stall Tesla's growth in certain states by not allowing them to sell by just point of sales locations, and to insist they can only have full service (ie: EXPENSIVE) dealerships. Its in the same way big oil puts their lobbyists to push politicians to continue oil subsidies but tax like hell arising green energy expansion, any surprise?
EM faces the same realities should they see any noticeable sales and/or press. The idea is to stall progress in any way until the small competitor runs out of money, happens all the time.
Just as its said, its nothing personal, its just business, it is really nice to be in the catbird seat. So while to you and I it may be unethical practice, if not immoral to put the squeeze on something that would be better for the environment, climate, our health, our wallets, etc etc., its still "legal" to influence who you need, in order to protect your turf, and the auto industry in particular has plenty of influence out there. You and I are only really "free" to choose, but only to a point in this system, lets not kid yourselves.
Not sure what will happen to Tesla, but these kinds of delay tactics are and will impede progress and sales, it may even kill a Tesla in the end, as they are far from turning a profit themselves, even though they have rather deep pockets to hold on awhile. My fear is EM doesn't have a chance here in this enviroment and may be painted into a corner sooner than later to sell out.
And, yes, its not unusual then for the buyer of the Elio IP, to shelve it, until they decide they need it. Don't expect it then any time soon thereafter, its just like when you go to Europe, and you can get high mpg small low cost alternative vehicles there, but not here. Not enough money in low priced cars, no margin, but they will tell you they are "unsafe" for US roadways. Truth is they don't want small vehicles eating into HIGH margin big vehicles.
So even if Paul does absolutely everything right from here on in, this is the playing field just ahead.
Okay guys, it's time to "burn the trash!" And that is what this guy that calls himself " whattheelf " is: TRASH! Let's just "block" him and like pouring salt on a garden slug, he WILL go away!!!!!!
