Don't forget the profit from selling carbon credits to the Big 3 Gas Guzzlers. That's where a lot of the true profit lies, I'm told, but I know very little about how that works (yes, you heard it here, something Eric doesn't know much about).EM should be able to cash flow their way through the production of the reserved vehicles .... with 1 - 2 days between the build and the sale, most if not more money should be coming in than it cost to produce the Elio .... the more options, the greater the difference would be .... once the reservations have been taken care of, the profit on each subsequent Elio would kick in .... I believe that once they get into production, they will quickly get into the black
I don't believe the the motorcycle/autocycle classification meets the requirements for selling carbon credits to car companies.Don't forget the profit from selling carbon credits to the Big 3 Gas Guzzlers. Good point. Also how much will they make on our options to base model? How do you get a "net loss" with $292+ million in sales and that's just with current reservations.
I don't know if the pending auto cycle legislation in congress would affect that or not. But it's an automotive engine and automotive tranny; the case an (and I'm sure will) be made.I don't believe the the motorcycle/autocycle classification meets the requirements for selling carbon credits to car companies.
A bundle, like every other car maker.Good point. Also how much will they make on our options to base model?
