The guy in my avatar is named Taz; he was an insane kitten and he earned the name. Right now he's 13 (14lbs) and has mellowed out a lot. He's a purebred Abyssinian; he will not allow other cats in his backyard, and has almost killed 4 of the ones that couldn't get out in time. He's very protective. When he does a full stretch it's 52" from back toes to front toes, and with an all black coat, his claws look huge (partly because they are).
I have 2 other purebreds ( a Rag-a-Muffin and a Manx) and an orange mutt that's my 15lb 3 year old baby. Yeah, we do grow them big here.

Only after he takes a really smelly one. Talking about it the whole time.
His back yard is 55x60 and I have it so no one can get out, and except on a rare occasion, no one can get in.
