Interesting. I was quite conservative in what I indicated I'm willing to invest, I'm more interested in what others are interested in doing at this stage. So, if EM does come through with the offering, I'll likely put more money in than I indicated. I'm very curious how many might have a similar approach.

Same. I indicated 5k when the site first opened, but my intent if there truly is a public offering is 10k.

I see 95% on the SE website.. and on the EM reservations count ...I think ( and some of you are too, I'm just saying it here ) they are waiting until the full 44k are in. EM has done that before, wait just a couple days to hit an interesting milestone. They may even combined that with the next funding milestone for a double-hit.

Unless EM waits for a the full 25m, since that plays much better than even saying 99%. In that case I don't think the 44K res posting can wait that long.

If it were to happen at the same time, hitting 45k reservations, and 25m funding would be awesome. ( I'm an unabashed enthusiast, what can I say )

There's a heck of a lot of dust to settle before Elio actually gets money in hand from this campaign ... what I'm hoping is that the FACT of the campaign, and its visible success, speaks loudly to both the SEC and especially the DOE. They remain the elephant under the carpet.

So, following your thought, people WILL adjust their decisions based on the actual offer ... and long with a whole lot of other variables.

I've also put what I think my minimum guaranteed investment is. Of course I'm assuming the minimum offer from Elio includes some kind of share ownership in the company even if it has many restrictions.

I'm willing to more than double my investment if I see the P-5 unveiled in time and especially if I hear news of production preparation at the factory in any form: hiring, production tooling, P-6-P30 testing, etc...

Elio apparently need $200M more, nickels and dimes ain't gonna do it.
EM has, over time, indicated different figures. Anywhere from a total of about $200million to an additional $300million. There's any number of reasons EM is on the down low with what they need.

I believe it's under $200 mil, there are other investments we do not have information on.
Only EM and PE know exactly how much more is needed, so guesses are going to be just that; a guess.

I think every thing is falling into place at exactly the correct time. This $25 mil will fund the P5 - P30 and testing. The ATVM loan is for $189 mil, I think that will start production. I don't know how far that will fund first year.
One thing that worries me is all of the first years production units have had a down payment made and that money has already been spent. So most of the first years production will be built at a net loss.

How do you get a "net loss" with $292+ million in sales and that's just with current reservations.
