Here's a shocking little fact I learned the other day -- maybe it helps define the "crowd" in crowd funding. To be in the top 0.1% of all the people on earth, you need to earn is $70,000 or more. To be in the top 1%, all you need is about $20,000 (I don't remember the precise figure).

To those of us who are fond of griping at our relative poverty, just consider what the "crowd" out there really is. I am ashamed.

Well, some of the QA for the latest Cedar Rapids event seem a bit upbeat, or at least by sometime after the month end if you like the quote about a 10 month time frame. Granted just a unconfirmed comment, but there were other interesting comments.
