My biggest concern with that truck, is the fit-and-finish if the final manufactured product. Just like lots if early Teslas had leaky windows, wobbly seats etc. I expect the same from any company brand new to automotive manufacturing.

That said, I would take a standard cab version of that truck with a longer bed.

Actually, $70K is right in line with what a lot of pickups come close to, a loaded Ford of Chevy are around $60+
So $70K puts you at the top end, I hope that truck is loaded.
It looks good, and right in line with what other trucks go for.
As they say, what the market will bear, and $70K is right in that line.

I think it's probably too expensive when you account for the drawbacks. Sounds like a well thought out BEV truck that is hobbled by battery pricing, and startup costs.

I like it and it starts quite a bit less expensive than a new truck optioned like mine. Of course, it won't pull what my diesel will but that's becoming less important now that we aren't moving houses every few years. Yay, retirement... But, as long as I have the 30' enclosed car hauler, I'll need to keep my diesel. But, should the day come where I sell the trailer, the truck won't be far behind...

My new Rad Rover Ebike… 48v. batt. Range 25-40 mi. (depending on how much you pedal... A true hybrid). Gonna get a little exercise and have some fun too... At age 67 I find I need a little help from my friend(s) (Bafang 750Watt hub motor):D

I like it, and I should probably look into something like that, I'll be 66 in a couple of months, and live in a hilly area, so I would be doing the same.
How much $ was it?
And since we get rain here, I'd probably be looking for a couple of fenders.

Coss, I got it from Rad Power Bikes (Seattle, WA) They had a Cyber Monday sale to sell out the rest of their 2018 models... $1399 ($300 discount) delivered... You have to assemble it, but that wasn't hard at all... Their 2019 models will be out in Jan. and will be selling for the same regular price as the 18's... They also have several different models/styles if you prefer something not fat tired...
https://www.radpowerbikes.com/ They also have accessories for the bikes (I ordered a top tube bag and a rear rack at the same time) They do have fenders available, but not always (right now they're out of stock for the Rover) I had been researching ebikes for a while now and for me Rad offered the most bike for the buck, had a very good reputation for service, and a quality product. If you look around on YouTube you can find lots of videos on them... The box on mine was damaged in shipping and the derailleur guard was bent and the paint nicked... I contacted Rad tech support by phone, sent them an email with pix and got an immediate response offering a new guard even tho the original could be bent back into the proper position... I feel like that's a pretty positive response... Anyways, I'll be trying it out tomorrow if the weather is ok and I'll report back how it goes...
Film at 11...

If you have an interest in the Bolt EV there is a 'disassembly' video released today by WeberAuto which in less than a day has nearly 2000 views on YouTube. It is very informative as to the workings of the various sub-assembly components.

Interesting video indeed. I like his presentation, very well spoken. The amount of coolant connections is pretty impressive, and the one thing I was intrigued with was how easy all the electrical connectors all slide into place without having to manhandle them and jiggle and joggle them into place.

Views are over 3800 when I watched it, so I assume he has a popular channel and I will be looking more into them for sure.

Oh the possibilities of an E-Elio...!

Now to get a good hub motor for that rear tire on my Elio to help give it a boost...
