One thing I remember is that for some reason every time someone got out they would lower the seat as low as it would go before the next person got in. With my back once I had set down I was wondering about getting back up, but once I had adjusted the seat to my comfort I found that getting out was no problem with the seat as high as it would go. Add to that the raise in clearance planned for the production model I see no problem.
I read that same comment on Elio's FB and thought it was because the steering wheel didn't tilt and was in the way when getting in or out of the Elio. I think the Production Elio specs a tilt steering wheel?.........so should be easier entry and exits both. I could be mistaken on the tilt wheel.

I'd be the coolest guy on the block! LOL Not to worry it really is not my style..........just looked like a fun idea. Our Elio's will be a very harmonious pair.

Has anyone actually gotten in and out of one?
My '97 Civic is like getting in and out of a go-kart.
I remember, years ago, on "Car Talk" (Klick&Klack), a survey said the then new VW bug was the easiest car for obese people to access because the door opened wider than average. (not that I'm obese)
As easy as any other compact car. This was the P3. Haven't been in the P4 yet.
