It really depends on cost. If it is around $250, I'll probably get it. If it is closer to $400 or $500, then I probably won't. Of course, my usage scenario is almost 100% commuting and I can live without cruise control for the 20 or so miles each way. I'd imagine that the majority of commuters (or city drivers) could go without it and not be bothered too much. Also, I think that if the $6800 price tag is really one of the tenets of this car, they're going to shy away from making certain things standard that would jeopardize that goal. I would hope that with the amount of customization options they say they have planned that a lot of the car will be built in a modular fashion to make adding optional features super easy after initial assembly.
