That's different; for the last few decades it was 1 AFC and 1 NFC on Saturday, and then on Sunday it was 1 NFC and 1 AFCPlayoff games this weekend, per ESPN:
- Saturday (two AFC games):
- #5 Kansas City @ #4 Houston, 4:20pm EST
- #6 Pittsburgh @ #3 Cincinnati, 8:15pm EST
- Sunday (two NFC games):
- #6 Seattle @ #3 Minnesota, 1:05pm EST
- #5 Green Bay @ #4 Washington, 4:40pm EST
- AFC top 2 seeds:
- #1 Denver, home-field throughout the playoffs
- #2 New England, have lost 4 of last 6 games
- NFC top 2 seeds:
- #1 Carolina, home-field throughout the playoffs
- #2 Arizona, we won't know how big a deal it was for them to get killed by Seattle in Week 17, until AZ plays their first playoff game
One thing I noticed in the Seattle - Arizona game there were a lot of names on the Seahawks side I've never seen before; that RB Brown, he had to be one of our recent additions since RB's are dropping like flies; Coffman as a WR, where did he come from? I don't know if they were just letting all of the 2nd and 3rd string players play, or we really have that many people out.
