there is no doubt the Panther's secondary baited him .... he fell for it .... I was surprised that the refs didn't eject him

Did you get to see his actions on the field? The spearing/helmet to helmet contact is what got him suspended.
I don't know what was going on between Beckham Jr. and Norman of the Panthers, but Norman sure got to him.

And that's a bad time to suspend him; next week they play the Vikings on a nationally televised game (I don't remember which night game it is); but Beckham Jr. is the main key in the Giant's passing game and they need all the help they can get.
Believe that was moved to the SNF/Carrie slot for next Sunday.

The ref's felt that the coaches should straighten their players out; or so says the reports; I think the ref's are feeling about the same towards Panthers lately. There was something about a baseball bat through the smoke in the pre-game intro that seemed to bother a lot of people.

Any guesses as to whether the Bengals can win next Monday night? McCarron seems to do an OK job, but Sunday the team couldn't run the ball at all -- and the short passes weren't doing it for him either. So without Dalton, what's the take on next week's game? The Bengals really need to win because they need a by week to get Dalton healthy for the playoffs.

Good question Eric... it's a critical game to Denver, not-so-critical to Cincy... I don't know the tiebreakers for Cincy and Pitt, but certainly Pitt needs 2 W and Cincy would have to lose 2... McCarron will be starting his 2nd game, Osweiler has about 5 starts... I know Pitt just lit up Denver in the 2nd half of last week's game, but: which defense is better, Cincy or Denver? If McCarron takes care of the ball and gives no turnovers, then Cincy has a chance at Denver. If Denver manages to go scoreless again in the 2nd half, then Cincy will most likely win.

All that said, Osweiler hasn't been getting much help from the receivers or O-line.

My take, based on what I've heard and seen: this is Beckham's fault. Not Coach Coughlin, not the refs, not the Panther defensive back. It's Beckham's fault.

Should the refs have take control of the game better? Absolutely. Reffing an NFL game is extremely difficult, not an easy job at all. But when you see the same two players going at it like these guys were, and BOTH of them got penalties earlier in the game, and then that play happened where Beckham went hunting and speared the DB in the side of the helmet, I'm not sure what else the refs needed to see to eject him.

The baseball bat thing is something the Panthers have done all season, for Beckham or anyone to point that out and say that Beckham was threatened or felt threatened... c'mon, man. :-)

That TD that Beckham caught, and he stepped right over the DB afterwards... based on how things had went up to that, Beckham should've been penalized for that action. If that was the very first thing that happened between them, no big deal, let it go. But all the bad blood and penalties,... I'm just sayin'.

It's an NFL player's goal to cross that line on occasion, and it's the ref's goal to show them where that line is by giving them penalties. When that line is crossed that is unsportsmanlike, shame on the player the first penalty, shame on the ref the 2nd penalty.

Beckham's gonna have to learn to let his football skills speak and not his temper. Otherwise, every week the opposing defensive backs will be baiting him.

like way too many players (past and present), he's a very talented, very rich prima donna .... when things are going good (meaning his way), he's fine .... when things don't go his way he reacts in much the same manner as a mean, child .... I put Johnny Football in the same category along with all too many others we seen in professional sports

If you were in your mid 20's and a multi millionaire how would you act when you've not had a lot before you got to this stage? (Wait, isn't his dad a lawyer and his mom a doctor? Ummm ignore that last part)
