Exactly. I was pointing out another fun vehicle that you could use instead of a FUV. Plus I pointed out a reverse trike which makes it more fun.

Also, when are you getting yours?
The FUV is a reverse trike and definitely more fun.

Regarding delivery, I’ll take delivery as soon as the hard door ‘option‘ is available. Doors are a personal ‘requirement‘. For now I’m enjoying my MY while waiting on my FUV.

The AMP restarted the Retail FUV assembly line and delivering a few Evergreens a couple weeks ago after the long COVID shutdown and now the fires and smoke issues. It’s difficult enough for a startup let alone all the hurdles with COVID, the economy in the crapper, and the fires. Regardless, Arcimoto remains financially stable and the dedicated A Team remains optimistic and continues to be hard at work through it all.

I agree with the smoke issues, it's bad over here. You open the door and stick your head out and your coughing so bad to think your going to cough a lung up, it's bad over here. I've lived in Western WA for the last 45 years and I've never had to go through anything this bad before.
And I'm like 70 miles north from the factory, and it's worse down there.

The smoke has settled into Coeur d’Alene, ID as well. We can barely see across the street. The air quality measured hazardous the past couple days and will continue through Tuesday. Not long term for us, but it allows us to better understand and be more sympathetic of those in the heart of the devastating fires. I can’t imagine the pain of losing a home and all of our worldly possessions to fire. As a kid, my parents experienced devastating flooding, but as least the house structure was still standing. Stay in, be well!

Didn't know where to put this but I think it is very interesting about assembly.
From a roll of aluminum to a 4-wheel vehicle in 5 days!

160 ROBOTS

3,000 EMPLOYEES

5 DAYS TO A COMPLETED CAR

The TESLA Assembly Plant (from a roll of metal to 4-wheels)

The only factory in North America, located just east of Reno, Nevada, plus another just-announced factory in Austin, Texas. This is how the car comes together. Quite amazing! Note how few employees there are involved in this assembly process. Also, note that most of the components for the car are built in house. There are few parts suppliers involved. The car is built all under one roof! Things are changing.

Regarding the above Tesla post: By comparison, Arcimoto fabricates many of the FUV’s parts in-house at the AMP. They are partnering with Munro & Associates to assist with assembly efficiency, production scale, and quality control. I envision Arcimoto becoming a Tesla Motors Mini-Me once the smoke clears.

Very nice video. It is amazing how much they do in house under that one roof. Elio was originally suppose to be the same way in the fact they was going to build the motor in house. IAV was suppose to come in and show Elio employees how to build it then leave once they was trained.

IAV and Paul perhaps had a fallen out, and now he is going to get the engine pre-built from one of the big companies.

IMO, this will free much needed space needed to get the Elio assembled. Result in much less on-site training. And may even produce a more reliable power plant.

I’d recommend starting a new three wheelers thread. The Arcimoto FUV is one of a kind fun/utility vehicle with three wheels, sports car like suspension & handling, actual driver comfort, and safety features. All it needs is the pop on/pop off doors to provide full enclosure......a personal requirement.
