Does anyone know if the AMT will have some kind of hill assist so it does not roll backwards on a hill?

I was thinking that foot on brake too :thumb:
So, people will have to have to put their left foot on the break and then step on the gas with their right. Most people who drive a real automatic will not do that. I know that other car companies use a sensor to detect an incline and then keep the brake applied for 2-3 seconds after you take your foot off the brake so you are on the gas when the brake is let off.

Really? What kind of car is that in? I've driven automatics for some time now (like 47+ years) and have never seen that.

Both of my cars have that feature. They are 2011 Subaru Outback and 2015 Fiat 500. In the Subaru, hill start is off by default. In the Fiat, it is on by default.

In the Subaru, it uses the electronically controlled parking brake, and in the Fiat, it uses the regular braking system.
